Partners

The Center's University partners include Virginia Tech faculty members, graduate students and undergraduate students interested in or involved in practice or research activities consistent with Center mission and goals.

The Center's community partners include agencies or organizations whose mission and/or activities are consistent with Center mission and goals.

The Center facilitates partnerships among university and community partners to secure funding from appropriate funding sources, including federal agencies, state and local government, policy centers, foundations and corporations that support practice and research related to public health.

The Center for Public Health Practice & Research welcomes and encourages graduate students enrolled in the Master of Public Health program to be involved in Center activities to enrich their practicum experience and capstone project. Graduate students across disciplines who are interested in public health can contact the Center for potential opportunities to participate and contribute to Center activities.

Undergraduate students may also be involved in Center activities upon recommendation of faculty advisors, resources to support their involvement, and availability of studies and projects.
