Virginia Youth Survey Data Briefs
The Center developed health risk behavior data briefs for the Virginia Department of Health. Topics focus on youth behaviors such as: physical activity, nutrition, violence and depression, injury, alcohol and other drugs.
- Tobacco, alcohol, and other drug use
- Unhealthy dietary behaviors
- Inadequate physical activity
- Behaviors that contribute to unintentional injuries and violence

Proceedings from the regional public health practice and research forum held at Virginia Tech in the Spring of 2012. Participants discussed public health needs in southwest Virginia and identified next steps and action items. A list of recommendations was also developed.
